Restaurant in Palma: from invisible to cited

A restaurant with a strong local reputation that appeared in no generated answer. The problem was not the quality, it was that nothing published about it could be quoted.

Restaurant in Palma: from invisible to cited

Starting point

Mallorcan market cooking, twelve tables, old town of Palma, open since 2019. Excellent reviews, a decent site of its own, active on social. Asked across three systems where to eat Mallorcan cooking in Palma, it appeared in none of the fifteen answers.

The reason surfaced in ten minutes of review. Everything published about the restaurant was evaluation, not description. Customer reviews full of adjectives, social posts with photographs and no useful text, and a site whose story section opened with "we are a passionate team". Not one sentence in the whole set carried the four coordinates together.

Entity layer

First the identity sentence was fixed, the one that had to appear identically everywhere: exact name, type of cooking, quarter, city and year of opening. It was corrected on the site, in the directory listings and in the footer of the notes sent out afterwards.

Alongside it, three verifiable facts no competitor could copy: number of tables, suppliers named with their municipality, and the menu that changes weekly with the market. Facts, not promises.

Source layer

The site was taken through the basics: text served as HTML without depending on scripts, a visible date on every page, contact details as text rather than images, and a summary file at the root. The menu, which was a scanned PDF, was turned into text.

Consensus layer

The same facts went to five network titles, each with its own angle and its own wording. None repeats another’s text, all agree on the coordinates.

What was measured

A panel of eighteen questions, measured monthly across three systems. The first month is the baseline, and what gets tracked afterwards is the appearance rate and, above all, the descriptor: if the system says Mallorcan market cooking in the old town, the entity has taken. If it says restaurant in Mallorca, precision is still missing.

About the figures in this case

The example describes the method and the order of work, it does not promise a result. Speed depends on the sector, the competition, and how much contradictory information was published beforehand. In hospitality, where people almost always ask in natural language, the effect shows sooner than in most fields.
